Well, this took some time, but I finally got it done. Even more amazing than my video-editing skills is the basic idea that all of this can be done, uploaded, shared, etc. so simply.
Layla’s performance piece was almost 20 minutes and included somewhere near 15 dancers ranging from six years old to, I guess, high-schoolers. I’ve cut it down to five total minutes over several clips that Layla was involved in. The piece is entitled “Prelude to a Wedding” and Layla and her three compatriots are Baby Brides. She is the first to enter from the right and often looks at her feet and counts to herself to keep time. She is very good.
