It’s been more than a month and a half since I declared my desire to customize the site. I’ve made zero progress. In fairness, I have been busy with moving and work. I have changed the theme a few times and included this custom header with this picture of the kids. Yes, I know you only see Emma’s and Layla’s faces, but that is as much as I can show considering the cropping required by the software.
I’ll look for another picture (or just take one) where everyone’s head will fit into the header.

Chris – By any chance do you know the specific dimensions for the custom header? I’ve messed around with it a little bit but my sizes are always too big.

Sorry, I don’t know. Custom headers in wordpress lets you upload nearly any picture, but if it is too big, a cropping box with the largest possible dimension allows you to post a portion of the picture.
