Here is Dallas, there is freezing rain falling. So as I’m trying to watch CBS Sunday Morning–quite possibly the best show on television–when the local news breaks in to telling us all about the weather. Fine, in fact, good. But they did ten minutes with a whole cadre of weather-people. Then they went to commercial and repeated the whole thing over again. At about the eighteen minute mark, it finally hit me, “Holy crap! Is freezing rain falling in Dallas? Maybe I should stay home today.”
They’ve just gone to another break, promising to be back to talk about, hmm, maybe freezing rain falling in Dallas? Good. I hadn’t heard about that.
We’re now over fifty minutes of continuing coverage on freezing rain–and they don’t appear to be wrapping up. I can’t take it anymore.
