It seems like only ten days ago that soccer ended–oh wait, I guess it was only ten days ago. Anyway, Layla had her first softball game of the summer tonight. (You may remember that she played last summer when we lived in Plano.)
She played some first base (and almost had a couple of unassisted outs, including a pop-up that rolled foul) and center field.
And she had two hits in two ABs.
She thinks the other team won because “they had a lot of people touch home.”
Update: Layla’s reasoning was absolutely correct. They lost the game 22-11.
