So we hung around Farmington for Thanksgiving–extending our tradition where all the kids makes a dish to its second year. This year, Speed made the broccoli rice casserole, Emma made the jello salad, Layla made the cranberry sauce, and Madysen made the green bean casserole. I tried to make the gravy but was quickly fired for not doing it “correctly.”
I learned one thing while watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade: Webkinz trumps Santa. While Emma and Layla were doing something Webkinz related, they made only a glancing nod toward Santa at the conclusion of the parade. They may regret that when Webkinz fails to bring them anything for Christmas!
Emma and Layla also found time to transform their room and take pictures.

Their fort made of quilts, blankets, a table, chairs, and pillows

Okay, whatever
By Saturday morning, they had taken it up a notch–adding two tents to the mix. They watched Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure before sleeping in their new and improved fortress.

Speed slept in the purple tent, the little girls in the castle, and Madysen in the "old" fort
don’t you love the forts me and Layla’s made.
