Almost seven months after the accident and surgery to repair Holly’s shattered wrist, this morning she underwent surgery to remove the plate and 10(!) screws used to heal her wrist. Though she has nearly full use of the wrist, she still has sharp pain, which they attributed to the plate. So they removed it.
Everything went well. They didn’t put her completely under, but she was plenty loopy afterwards to say a very embarrassing things to the nurse.
