Last weekend, we all headed down to Houston to have Christmas at my parents. Unfortunately for story-telling purposes, nothing went to horribly wrong.
On Saturday, the entire fourteen person crew had lunch at Asian City–where else might one have a Christmas dinner? As always, the little girls were wowed by onion volcano.

Even better than on The Office

Then it was family portrait time! Hooray! Mom made us all dress up in white shirts and jeans. Sarah did her level best to make these even somewhat viewable.

Speed is so excited that Holly is having to hold him down

Otherwise, we had a gift exchange that went off largely without incident. We played Cranium Pop Culture in which my team defeated Holly’s team when Speed successfully acted out “Dolly Parton” by focusing on her big . . . hair! And we played Wii–Emma and Layla are quite good at tennis. I’m a burgeoning Guitar Hero master.
I for one am glad there were no incidents – especially that involved me – I did throw Holly’s coffee out before she had a chance to drink it but she was gracious about it.
