On Sunday afternoon, Layla had another indoor soccer game. And again they didn’t have enough girls show up. They did manage to rustle up a non-keeper to play keeper, but I’m not sure it really mattered as they got absolutely hammered. The scoreboard only showed 8-0, but Layla thinks it was as bad as 20-0. If this had happened five years ago when Madysen was this age, I think I would have blown up, but now so what. See, I’m relaxed about such matters. (Do not verify with the kids or Holly!)
Anyway, the real interesting tidbit from the game was who Layla marked. Look at these pictures. That girl is head and shoulders taller than Layla (and a head taller than any other girl on the field). And she is, I assume, 8 years old. Wow. Layla didn’t do too poorly against her.
