Okay, one last post of the day–and possibly the most interesting:
Last weekend, Holly was reading through the classified ads in the Sunday paper (don’t ask). She said to me, “How about I get a job as a waitress as a men’s club? I could wear a wig.”
Giving it the response it deserved, I said nothing.
About ten seconds later, Emma, who was in the corner working a puzzle, said, “They’ll still know you’re a girl, mom.”
True indeed.
