Now that high school soccer is (sadly) over, league soccer resumes. You may recall that the fall season didn’t go so well. Oh well, six games to go.
The first of which was at 8 a.m. Sunday morning. I drew the short straw if by “draw the short straw” you mean Holly told me that I was to get Madysen to the game by 7 a.m. They were playing Texans Red 93. I was worried when I noticed that Texans best forward was the McKinney Boyd girl that had carved up HP in the playoffs just a couple of days earlier. She scored early. Texans went on to win 4-1, which means White 93 remains winless in league through 13 games. Ugh.

Madysen actually played pretty well, being aggressive and physical. She was fouled pretty hard late in the game, which foul drew one of the rare yellow cards I’ve seen this year.
