As I sure you are aware, Madysen and Speed are so mistreated at home. (Seriously, they believe this. Madysen continually reminds us that she’s never been out of the country! Oh, the humanity.)
The latest example: while their friends spent spring break either skiing in Colorado or Utah or sunning in Mexico, the kids spent part of their break in Houston with my parents. Not the worst thing in the world but not exactly Deer Valley or Cabo. And it started by them spending the day in the middle of nowhere, Texas.
Now the reality is they had a great time, especially driving the steroid-adled golf cart. You can see and read more about it here.
One final note: Nana took the kids to College Station to see Aunt Abby. I have a hard enough time accepting that my sister is an Aggie, but do we really have to expose my kids to that?
