Now that lacrosse season is over for Speed, Emma is finished with gymnastics for a while, and Madysen has split with her club coach (long, sad story), Layla had the only sporting event of the weekend–soccer. She didn’t play as aggressive as she usually does, but she did fine. They lost 2-0 to the Covenant Knights; it would have been 3-0 if the keeper hadn’t made a great save . . . with her face! Probably would have preferred 3-0.
