It’s That Time of Year Again: Recitals [Dance]

Please excuse the interruption from my usual bit of sports, entertainment, and the occasional funny story. The last week of May always means it’s recital time. Emma hung up her dance shoes a couple of years ago, and Layla traded in her ballet shoes for jazz hands (?) this year.

And after all that hard work, her recital was Sunday afternoon. We were all there along with Cousins Carli and Noah and Holly’s parents and Grandma Flossie. Layla performed her five minute number (Shining Star) wonderfully–as she always does.
