School has been out for two weeks, and I’m already exhausted. The first week was relatively quiet with only Emma attending gymnastics camp.
While Holly and I were in New Orleans last weekend, Holly’s mother took care of the kids for us, and they headed back to Oklahoma. (Except for Madysen; she had to stay around town for soccer.) Then Speed spent the week in Kansas City with Uncle Shawn and Cousin Noah. He had lots of fun (Kung Fu Panda, a Royals/Rangers game, etc.), but he was worn out when he got home.
Meanwhile, Layla and Emma attended a basketball camp in Norman coached by a couple of high school friends of ours. Layla got the Hustle Award and the Best Rebounder Ribbon. Emma got a second place ribbon. I was surprised by who much they both enjoyed it.
Madysen did make it to Oklahoma. She attended the OU Soccer Camp. She had fun, learned a lot, and increased her funny soccer tan.
