I recall billing Holly’s and my trip to Maine with my parents and sister and husband as the “The Vacation to End All Vacations,” and I largely stand by that. But around here, we are always trying to increase or challenges. So here we go. Tomorrow the whole family is heading off for a Caribbean cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. Sounds great, you say? Also on the boat, ten plus members of Holly’s family. The boat doesn’t look big enough to me.
We have done big family things like this before, and they haven’t always been total disasters. Add to that, it’s our first cruise, and I’m somewhat reticent generally and specifically about cruises, but we’ll see. I’m sure the kids will enjoy it.
So, things will be quiet around here for the next week or so. See you next year.
