We are back from our Caribbean cruise, alive and, at least as to me, with a buzz cut. I won’t go into the story but I was irritated on Grand Cayman, couldn’t find an open barbershop because it was New Year’s Day, and way overpaid for a buzz on the ship.
I’m sure I’ll have more details later (hooray!), but right now I’m still trying to recover–from the buffets, the jet ski, and the fog, which delayed our Galveston disembarkation (and subsequent arrival at home) by six hours.
Everything looks to be okay around here except that I had a nice little elegant post scheduled to go up on New Year’s Eve–similar to this one from the end of 2007–but it has disappeared into the ether. Don’t know whether it will ever magically appear /fingers somewhat crossed/, but I’m not about to even attempt to recreate it at this point. [Note: I finally found it over three years later. I think I still stand by
