On Tuesday evening, I was sitting in a meeting when I heard that a colleague would not be attending because they were at a concert, specifically The Circus Starring Britney Spears. I chuckled to myself and looked forward to giving that person a very hard time about that.
So I was shocked to hear a few hours later when I arrived home that Layla was at the very same concert with some friends. And someone says I approved it a while back. I do not recall that–it doesn’t even sound right.
You won’t be surprised to hear that Layla thoroughly enjoyed it, though I suspect it had a ton to do with a lot of the stuff beyond Britney. Or at least, I seriously hope that’s true. So after the concert was over, Layla and a couple of the other girls talked to the people in the suite next door–the crew from the Kidd Kraddick radio program. They asked the girls what they thought of the concert on a scale of 1 to 10. Layla rated it “50 billion!”
So now I’ve got to figure out where it all went wrong.
